Is someone giving you the sh**s?
Has your mood been kinda off lately? With everyone working from home during lockdown and not being able to travel around, it’s only natural that you would feel stressed or overwhelmed. That’s why Second Chance Animal Rescue, up north in Craigieburn, has found a creative way for you to release some tension. Just send them the name of someone you hate, and they’ll get their adorable shelter cats to poop on it!
If you’ve been feeling down in the dumps because of someone, don’t suffer in silence! Donate $5 to Second Chance Animal Rescue and send them a name. No questions asked, they’ll take the name, write it in the litter box and let the cats go poop as they please. Keep it to first names though! You don’t want to expose anyone.
If you’re a bit like Arya from Game of Thrones and you have a looonnggg list of names, that’s ok! If you donate $20 to the shelter, they’ll set aside a personalised tray just for you. This tray can fit up to ten names.
Simply donate and then send them an email with your chosen name and the payment receipt to socials@secondchanceanimalrescue.com.au. After the deed is done, they’ll send you the sweet, sweet proof.

Second Chance Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit organisation, which means all donations over $2 are tax-deductible.
This shelter rescues and rehabilitates dogs and cats that were due to be euthanised, hence the name Second Chance. On top of their animal shelter, they also have an animal hospital, an education hub and a cat boarding facility. They also hold fundraising events like yoga sessions, where you can bring your yoga mat, take part in a lesson from a professional instructor, and cuddle some shelter puppies and kittens during the session.
