After months of anticipation, the award-winning Queensland destination, Soak Bathhouse, is finally here in Melbourne. Fresh after opening their latest venue in Sydney, Soak is inviting Melburnians to unwind in South Yarra. Look forward to a wide range of relaxing experiences, like mineral pools, hot spas, saunas, wellness experiences and more. You’ll find it near Chapel Street, within the $100 million Alfasi Development Precinct. Soak Bathhouse will open in South Yarra on Saturday June 28.
Soak Bathhouse in South Yarra
The Melbourne venue is one of Soak’s largest bathhouses, spanning 700 square metres. This urban oasis features plenty of lush, leafy greenery, to help transport you to a blissful state of being. Slip into one of the large mineral pools, or dip into one of their cold plunge pools. Then, heat up in the hot spas, a dry cedarwood sauna and steam room. This is quite a social setting, so bring a friend and have a chat while you pamper yourself.
If you’re after something a bit more private, there are wellness experiences, like LED facials, infrared saunas and full-body massages, for you to try.
“There is so much demand in Melbourne for what we offer and as a busy bathhouse it’s so inspiring to see so many guests passionately seeking ways to look after their bodies and minds,” said co-owner Alexis Dean. “The expansion to Melbourne marks an exciting chapter for Soak Bathhouse, as we continue to grow and bring our distinctive concept of micro-doses of wellness to more cities.”
The South Yarra spot is the fourth Soak Bathhouse venue in Australia, joining Mermaid Beach and West End in Queensland, and the recently opened Alexandria location in Sydney. Over the years, they’ve won plenty of awards and accolades, including Best of Queensland Experience 2023 & 2024.
This bathhouse is open daily, with Friday to Sunday being the peak periods. Bookings are available now.
