Looking for a getaway? A new off-grid tiny home is travelling to gorgeous destinations around Victoria, so that you can appreciate the best that this state has to offer. Backed by the Victorian Government, Stella the Stargazer will pop up in Gippsland this October, followed by the Great Ocean Road and Grampians next year. Bookings for this tiny home are open now.
Stella the Stargazer
This limited-edition tiny home will stay in each location for eight weeks. This locally-designed accommodation pays homage to the “Aussie shed”, and was created from upcycled and handmade materials. You’ll find everything you need to go offline and absorb your surroundings.
The bespoke Stargazer queen bed can stay inside the house, or roll out so that you can admire the night sky under a pop-up glass and steel roof. There’s also a shower with operable glass louvres, a fridge, woodfire stove, cooking utensils and everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The off-grid home uses solar power, and has plenty of fresh water in the tank.
You’ll also enjoy breakfast, a welcome hamper and a bottle of wine curated from chef Alejandro Saravia of Farmers Daughters. Celebrate the region with some incredible local produce. If you’d like to have something special, you can also add on a premium dinner pack curated by Saravia.
Costs for accommodation start at $330 per night from Monday to Thursday, and $390 per night from Friday to Sunday.
