Is there a better combo than gin and summer?
Yes, and it’s a summer gin market kicking off next Wednesday 10 February until Sunday 14 February at The Craft & Co in Collingwood. (Featured image: thecraftandco)
The Summer Gin Market will showcase an all Australian line-up of gin distillers featuring Manly Spirits, Turner Stillhouse, Tiny Bear, Cape Byron Distillery, Old Young’s Distillery, Heathcote Gin, Animus, Artillery and, of course, The Craft & Co across nine stalls with special guest mixer Strange Love.
The feel of Australia’s original and longest-running gin market series will be different this year with a speed-dating-like format being implemented to keep in line with government advice and patron capacity restrictions. As such, the sit-down event will see the distillers shuffle around to the different tables to showcase their wares and give you the low-down on their range. Talk about service!
Once the session you are attending concludes, you are then welcome to mingle with the distillers and, obviously, head to the bottle shop to pick up your favourite.
Sessions, of which there will be nine across the five days of the event, are ticketed and will set punters back just $40 to have the gin come to them. You’ll also get your hands on a show bag loaded with vouchers and 100ml Collingwood dry gin.
Before or after your session, grab a bite to eat from the Craft & Co’s bar.
This event is sure to sell out, so make sure you grab your tickets now.
