Summer Jam 2025
There’ll be plenty of streetball action taking place over the three days of the festival, but at the heart of it are the men’s and women’s 5v5 Championship Games on Sunday, February 9, which will see the country’s top players leave it all out the on hardwood as they play for a cash prize of $20,000. Expect some serious skills on display as players showcase the latest in Jordan Brand performance innovation.
You’ll also want to catch the National Slam Dunk Contest, where elite Australian dunkers will display gravity-defying stunts and jaw-dropping creativity as they go head-to-head for a spot in the prestigious World Dunk Contest. Next-gen talent will be on display at the U21 Championship, while the Wheelchair Championship will showcase the incredible skills of barrier-breaking athletes.
A new addition to this year’s Summer Jam is the Creator Cup, a showdown featuring top local and international content creators. With the likes of Cam Wilder, KShowtime, and FinesseMane in the mix, you can expect dynamic gameplay and larger-than-life personalities lighting up both the court and your social feeds.
There’ll be heaps happening beyond the court, too, including live performances by some of the best emerging local hip-hop talent like Soli, V.V.Ace and Nabio, as well as live DJ sets, food trucks dishing up international eats, gaming stations, a barbershop, braid bar and a pop-up tattoo studio.
Summer Jam 2025 will close with some serious star power, as NBA star-turned-creator Lance Stephenson will bring his electrifying energy to the stage on Sunday night. He’ll also present the Creator Cup Trophy to the winning team.
Evolving from a grassroots festival that began in 2011, Summer Jam is now one of only three streetball events in the world endorsed by Jordan Brand. Entry is free on the Friday, while tickets start at $32 for an individual single-day weekend pass, or $30 for a family or group of four.
