Lose yourself in fields of colourful flowers this autumn at the Tesselaar KaBloom Festival of Flowers. Wander through the stunning gardens, and be greeted by millions of bright blooms. After admiring the vivid blossoms, stay a little longer and have fun with circus performers, a Ferris wheel, tractor rides, food and more. Head out to the Dandenong Ranges, and see this festival from March 21 to April 19.
Tesselaar KaBloom Festival of Flowers
The festival will take place across four glorious weeks, with millions of flowers across 12 acres of plantings. Gaze at sunflowers, salvias, marigolds, dahlias, cleomes and more colourful blooms. After admiring the blossoms, swing by the Flower Market and purchase some pretty plants to take home.
Hop on the Ferris wheel, and see the intricate flower field designs unfold below you. Or, relax on the Tractor Train Ride, and admire the farm while you trundle along.
Once again, the circus will return to KaBloom, ready to thrill you with their incredible acts. The troupe of artists from Circus Oz will delight and surprise you with acrobatics, juggling, hoop diving and more fun routines. If you feel particularly inspired, the team at Ruccis Circus will be there with workshops so that you can learn the tricks of the trade. These workshops will take place on weekends and during the school holidays.
There will be plenty of entertainment to keep the whole family entertained, including giant colourful bubbles in the Becky Bubble Show, enchanting stories in the Fairy Garden and a drumming workshop during the school holidays. Around Easter, you can follow clues to find rabbits in exchange for sweet rewards on a fun Rabbit Hunt. There’s also face painting, an obstacle course, a treasure hunt, a maze and garden games to keep you busy.
There will be a range of international food and drink to purchase from a range of food trucks. You’re also welcome to pack a picnic to enjoy on the grounds.
Dogs are welcome to come along, as long as they’re on a lead. There will be water provided for pups around the grounds. Just remember to pick up after them.
