Stay cool at the pool.
Australia’s first surf park, Urbnsurf, is here to get you ready for summer. Get that adrenaline pumping and sharpen your surfing skills at this massive surf park in Tullamarine. Or, if you’d rather just have a swim, immerse yourself in the gentle, crystal-blue waters of the lagoon. Urbnsurf is reopening to the public at 7am on Saturday October 23. Bookings are available now.
Right near Melbourne Airport, you’ll find Urbnsurf, a massive park that’s perfect for surfing. Instead of the unpredictable ocean, you’ll find consistent waves all year round. Hone your skills from beginner to expert, starting with their rolling white-water waves to challenging barrels for the more advanced surfers. Practice your surfing and take special lessons to master the fundamentals.
For beginners, head to The Bays, where you’ll find gentle waves. It’s the perfect place to have fun on a softboard or bodyboard in a safe environment. In The Bays, you’ll also find a lagoon with crystal-blue water, that’s perfect for swimming around and just having fun.
For something a little more challenging, visit The Point. Experience larger waves from playful, point-break style ones to thicker, barrelling waves.
When you’re not surfing, soak up inside the hot tubs by the lagoon. After that, stretch out on the rolling green lawns or lie down on the plush day beds. Once you’re hungry, fuel up at the Three Blue Ducks restaurant.
Bookings are now open for Urbnsurf. They’re reopening at 7am on Saturday October 23. At the moment, Urbnsurf can have a maximum of 50 guests on site at any time, and 25 surfers per hour. Spectator passes will not be available, except for guests accompanying a child. All visitors over the age of 16 must be fully vaccinated to access the site.
