Life in Oakleigh just got a little bit sweeter, with the opening of Vanilla Dessert Bar earlier this month. Located directly opposite Vanilla Lounge, this haven for sweet lovers invites you to choose your own adventure, and get creative at the dessert bar. Choose a base, add either soft serve or froyo, then go wild with a choice of over 60 toppings. This spot is open daily from 11am to 11pm.

Your journey begins with either croissants, cookies, cronuts or a waffle cone for the base. Then, choose from eight different flavours of soft serve or Greek frozen yoghurt. As for toppings, you’ll find something for everyone, with cinnamon-dusted gnocchi doughnuts, kataifi crumble, chocolate-coated Smith’s chips, honey walnut (melomakarona) and a vast selection of Vanilla’s signature custards and creams. You’ll also find sauce fountains, pouring out Belgian milk chocolate and Biscoff fudge. There’s so much to choose from, and you’ll just have to keep coming back for more, because there will be seasonal specials to keep things fresh.
Everyone can join in one the fun, with low-fat, low-sugar, vegan and allergen-friendly options.
You’ll also find Vanilla’s Celebration Cake & Custom Design Hub, with over 100 whole cakes to take home or customise for your next event. In a few weeks, there will also be a bakery, adding even more irresistible goodies.
