Indulge in the classic combo of wine and cheese at The Timber Yard. Taste and discover wine and cheese from over 70 local producers in one easy space. There will also be plenty of food to enjoy between tastings, as well as masterclasses, entertainment and more! Wine & Cheese Fest will return for its 13th edition, and take place on Saturday March 14.
Wine & Cheese Fest 2026
Sip and sample your way through all the wonderful wines and cheesy goodness that this festival has to offer. Running across two sessions, you’ll meet artisan producers from Victoria and beyond. The first session will run from 12pm to 3:30pm, and the second session will run from 4pm to 7:30pm.

If this fine festival gives you an appetite for knowledge, attend a free masterclass and learn something cool, like wine making, wine and cheese pairing and cheese making demonstrations.
Then, let out some energy by participating in the famous Grape Stomp Competition. Held between 3pm and 4pm, participants must stomp as hard and as fast as they can to see who can produce the most juice.
Throughout the day, you can also expect entertainment like DJs, live music and roving artists.

General Admission tickets include free tastings, masterclasses, a wine glass and a tote bag. It costs $59 plus a $4.80 booking fee.
If you upgrade to the Total Wine Indulgence for $119 plus booking fee, you’ll also get three glasses of wine to enjoy at the bar, and a bottle of boutique wine to take home.
Meanwhile, the VIP experience ($149 plus booking fee) includes the free tastings, masterclasses and tote bag, as well as all-day access, a Riedel Overtures wine glass, a VIP masterclass at 2pm and a VIP room upstairs where you can relax.
