The Winter Night Market has been extended for two weeks, giving you two more chances to visit this popular event at Queen Victoria Market. The Spring Night Market will go on hiatus this year, making this your last chance to visit the midweek event before summer. The final nights will take place on Wednesday September 2 and 9.

[CARDCORE] Night Market
Almost 2,000 square metres of market sheds will be transformed for the new [CARDCORE] Night Market, making it Australia’s largest free Trading Card Game and pop culture event. Look forward to over 75 TCG, collectables and pop culture vendors from around the country, as well as trading zones, gaming competitions, cosplay and interactive activities. Look forward to giveaways on the night, as well as live DJs.
This market will take place on both September 2 and 9.
NFL Takeover
To celebrate the NFL game at the MCG, String Bean Alley will be transformed into Gridiron Alley. Find all the energy of the NFL, and plenty of photo moments, in this iconic Melbourne laneway. Swing by American Doughnut Kitchen on September 9, at 6:30pm and 7pm, for some legendary surprise appearances.
Food and drink
Satisfy your cravings with tasty comfort food and exciting street eats. Vendors you can look forward to this time include:
- HOY PINOY – sink your teeth into Filipino charcoal-grilled skewers, along with chili coconut corn, rice, ube calamansi and pineapple iced tea.
- Smashville – try smash beef burgers or Nashville hot chicken.
- MeowMeow Matcha – sip on matcha drinks and pair them with desserts like matcha tiramisu.
- Soft Serve Lane by Mum’s Baklava – try signature baklava soft serve, topped with baklava pieces and other tasty toppings.
- Son in Law – have a sweet time with cartoon bao pops with Thai milk tea or pandan dipping sauce, and fairy floss.
- The Kaiser’s Sausages & Pretzels – enjoy grilled sausages made from traditional German recipes.
- Mr Baller – have wagyu beef meatball subs with marinara sauce, melted cheese and Nonna’s tomato sugo.
- Campfire Cocktails Bar – warm up with drinks like Campfire Vodka Lemon Lime & Bitters, Winter Gin & Tonic, Fireside Mojitos and hot, spiced mocktails.
- Mulled wine – say farewell to winter with a classic mulled wine.
When you’re not eating your way through the market, look out for roving performers, live music, glowing light installations and specialty shopping stalls, offering cool products like vintage fashion, gourmet dog treats and handmade hats.
