After making its debut last year, the delightful Bloom & Graze event is coming back to CherryHill Orchards. Visit their orchard in Coldstream, and celebrate the best of the Yarra Valley with wineries, cheesemakers, growers, artisans and more. Browse through the market stalls, taste your way through Yarra Valley produce, enjoy live entertainment and take part in workshops. This event will take place on Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13.
Bloom & Graze at CherryHill Orchards
Say hello to spring with a wholesome trip to this sprawling orchard. Browse through the market stalls, and discover local producers, chocolatiers, distilleries, breweries and more. Think tea from The Botanical Brothers, delicious chocolate from the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie, candles from Moss and Ivy, books from The Hidden Chapter and more! Treat yourself to tastings from local vendors, and try out CherryHill’s own beverage range, including Cherry Spritz, Seltzer, Cider, Cherry Vodka, Cherry Liqueur and Blossom Gin. Then, learn how the fruit is grown by going on a guided orchard tour.
For more food, pop into the newly refreshed cafe, grab a treat from one of the pink caravans, or find something yummy from one of the food vendors on-site. You can also pre-purchase a grazing box to enjoy, or bring your own picnic.
Take part in a cocktail masterclass with Naught Gin, or enjoy a wine and cheese pairing masterclass with the help of Yarra Valley Dairy and Tillie J Wines. You’ll need a booking to attend these sessions.
Across the weekend, there will also be complimentary workshops, live acoustic music and even an art gallery pop-up, run by The Pink Gallery.
This event promises fun for all ages, with adorable Valais Blacknose Sheep on-site, as well as a local CFA truck paying a visit.
Please note that while this is the start of spring, it will be a bit too early for the cherry blossoms. To see the blossoms, wait a little longer and return for their Blossom Festival, which starts on September 18.
