The delightful Winter Night Market is back at Queen Victoria Market on Wednesday nights. Have a merry old time at this popular event, and heat up with roaring fires, toasty street food, and cheery entertainment. Stay cosy with a warm drink or two, then browse through over 60 specialty retail stalls. Winter Night Market is on every Wednesday from 5pm to 10pm, and will from now until August 27.

For the whole month of July, this beloved market is transforming into a ‘Winter Wonderland’. Find all sorts of festive experiences, like live ice sculpting, snow queen entertainers, a new pop-up bar and more.
Step into a giant snow globe installation, and take photos among a swirling flurry of snow. Around the market, you’ll see illuminated snowflake decorations, twinkling lights and falling faux snow. Stay entertained by watching ice sculptors create works of art each week, and look out for roving hula hoop performers and stilt walkers.
Stay warm by the fire pits, and find a rotating line-up of limited edition food trucks, like:
- Braz Oz – sink your teeth into smoky Brazilian barbecue skewers
- Chimnutz – try Hungarian-style chimney cakes dusted with cinnamon sugar
- Bigger than Texas BBQ – warm up with Texan-style slow-cooked meats
- Churros Ole – satisfy your sweet tooth with Spanish-style churros
- Mr Baller – fuel up with meatball subs and fries
- El Chivi – try hearty Uruguayan steak sandwiches
- Tacos El Habanero – treat yourself to Mexican tacos and quesadillas
- Laksa Shack – keep it hot with steaming bowls of laksa, coming with options like seafood, chicken, duck and pork belly.
Returning vendors include:
- Churro Kitchen – satisfy your sweet tooth with a churro bowl, served with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce.
- Smashville – enjoy hearty options like the deluxe cheeseburger and southern fried chicken burger.
- The Soup Factory – stay warm with soup like lobster and king crab chowder, along with bread rolls.
- ReWine – sip on their signature spiced mulled wine.
- Spiced Milo Cocktail – have fun with this blend of rich chocolate malt with cinnamon, sweet maple syrup, spiced rum and whipped cream. A mocktail version is also available.
- Warm Butter Beer – this creamy drink includes notes of vanilla and butterscotch.
In the Winter Wonderland zone, you’ll find a new pop-up bar, serving up cosy tipples and mocktails, including a spiced hot milo for kids. During the school holidays, families can also reserve a table of six. Bookings are available for July 2, 9 and 16.
After that, go shopping and find unique treasures from over 60 specialty stores and stalls. Find vintage fashion, handmade jewellery and even tarot card readings.
Entry to this winter wonderland is completely free! So, dress warm, come hungry, and have a good time.
