The 2024 rankings for the World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants have been revealed, and five fabulous Melbourne venues made it to the list. This renowned list, which first began in 2019, celebrates the best in steak dining around the globe. This year, the team of editors and steak ambassadors looked at over 850 restaurants, looking at criteria like meat quality, cooking methods and customer service.

Best Steak Restaurants in Melbourne
The top Melbourne restaurant, Victor Churchill, just missed out on the Top 10, coming in at number 11 on the list. This Armadale establishment was praised for its “exemplary showcase of gastronomy that seamlessly blends fine dining with a theatrical display of butchery”. This grand venue includes an artisan butchery and grocer, as well as an elegant bar at the back and seating area in the retail space. Victor Churchill was also praised for its premium meats, its selection of sides and starters, its service and its wine list.
