The Surf Coast is about to get their first modern Australian bathhouse. Stretching out over 1000 square metres, this wellness destination will feature a variety of indoor and outdoor bathing, as well as traditional sauna, steam rooms and more. About Time is a collaboration between Little Company and Still Beauty, and will feature their signature massage and facial treatments. The About Time bathhouse is expected to open in late summer.
About Time Bathhouse
This new wellness destination has been in development for over two years. Created by Stacey Burt and Kent Pomare of Little Company, Joanna Beecher of Still Beauty, and Carlton footballer Ed Curnow, this bathhouse will be the first of its kind in the Surf Coast and Greater Geelong region.
About Time will feature the cult facials of Little Company, the signature massages of Still Beauty and more. The team wanted to extend the traditional experiences of skin treatments and massage to include a more holistic approach. Experience relaxation through water, steam, sauna and ice. Inspired by the different cultural rituals and interpretations of bathing, they’ve created a new space that is authentically Australian. About Time takes inspiration from raw and local materials, and the outdoor bathing sanctuary will feature plenty of native flora.
When it opens, you can bathe and relax in a combination of indoor and outdoor magnesium pools, private secluded bathing and cold plunge pools. There will also be a custom steam room, infrared saunas and a fire fuelled sauna for you to unwind in. The bathhouse will feature eight treatment rooms for you to enjoy facials and massages. There will also be a functional movement space to check out.
The About Time bathhouse is set to open in late February. Keep an eye out for updates on their social media page and website.
