ALDI has just launched their first ever Victorian Corner Store. Located in Melbourne’s CBD, this shop is all about providing convenience to inner-city shoppers. Expect ready-to-go snacks such as sushi, sandwiches and artisan bakery items, as well as ALDI’s iconic Special Buys. To celebrate the launch of this shop, you can treat yourself to a cup of Lazzio coffee for just 37 cents. This coffee cart will be at the Corner Store for a limited time only, on Thursday September 8 and Friday September 9.
ALDI Corner Store Coffee Pop-Up
Located on 501 Swanston Street, this convenient Corner Store is a curated ALDI experience. Celebrate the launch by grabbing a coffee from the Lazzio coffee cart. At just 37 cents, this pop-up experience will cost you the same amount of money if you bought the beans at ALDI and brewed it yourself at home.
“We are so excited to bring a unique in-store pop-up to Melbourne for the launch of Victoria’s first Corner Store,” said Varun Raheja, ALDI Buying Director. “And who better to sample our coffee than the coffee aficionados of Melbourne’s CBD?”
On top of that, all sales of Lazzio barista brewed coffee as part of this activation will be donated directly to ALDI’s charity partner, Camp Quality, which helps support children diagnosed with cancer. If you bring a reusable cup to the store, ALDI will double the donation amount of the sale.
Meanwhile, inside the new Corner Store, you’ll find an artisan bakery with baguettes, cinnamon buns, croissants, danish pastries and more. There’s also an extensive range of grab-and-go meals, fresh produce, meat, fancy cheeses, and self-checkouts for the busy Melbourne shopper.
The pop-up coffee experience is available on Thursday September 8 and Friday September 9.
