After delighting foodies last year, the Asia Street Food Festival by the Yarra is coming back to Melbourne. Wander over to Alexandra Gardens, and taste your way through over 200 dishes from over 40 traders. When you’re not sampling the food, soak in the atmosphere with fire performances, lion dances, music and more. It’s all happening from Thursday December 4 to Sunday December 7. Entry is free!

Asia Street Food Festival by the Yarra
Walk underneath the glow of Hoi An lanterns and see some Balinese huts serving flavoursome dishes. Expect over 40 curated Asian street food vendors, representing a range of cuisines from Vietnam, Taiwan, Thailand, China, the Philippines, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, India, Tibet and more.
Dishes you can look forward to include sizzling yakitori, Hainan chicken rice, juicy dumplings, Hong Kong egg waffles, hearty rice dishes, tasty noodles and more.
Listen to traditional and modern music from over 50 performing arts groups, and have fun with lion and dragon dances, fire performances and traditional folk games.
