Bridgerton is back, and thanks to a lead performance by Australia’s own Yerin Ha, the series is currently the most-watched show in the country. It has sparked a renewed obsession with the opulent mansions and romance of the Regency era—and now, Melbourne fans can experience it firsthand. If you too are already swooning over the new episodes, you don’t have to stay behind a screen to find the magic. Melbourne’s iconic Collingwood Town Hall is transforming its Art Deco ballroom into a Regency-inspired stage for a captivating concert series that brings the world of the show to life.
Collingwood Town Hall transformed into one of Lady Bridgerton’s balls

After the successful, two-day masquerade pop-up parlour at Hawker Spaces, comes yet another enchanting Bridgerton-inspired event set to take place at a 19th‑century landmark in Melbourne. The historic Collingwood Town Hall is considered one of Australia’s best town halls, renowned for its domed mansard roofs and glamourous Art Deco interiors.
Designed by George R. Johnson, its spacious ballroom already has a sense of old-Hollywood glitz and glamour but come March, it will mimic the vibe of the scandalous balls of the hit Shondaland series. From “Give Me Everything” to “Bad Guy”, you’ll hear some of the series’ most iconic songs, reinterpreted by a string quartet in the classical form. And if you feel like going all the way, embrace the spirit of the era by dressing in your finest Regency-inspired attire and add another layer of glamour to the evening.
