Kings of Comedy is sorting out your Friday and Saturday night plans with its Live and Uncensored Showcase in Melbourne. Loaded with the funniest comedians in town, brutally hilarious headline acts and the option of kicking off your evening with dinner, you’ll be in stitches and crying for more.
Don’t miss out on a good belly laugh on the weekend.
You would know what you’re in for if you’ve been to one of Kings’ Melbourne International Comedy Festival shows over the past few years. If you haven’t, then you’re in for a treat because Kings is a great night of comedy that keeps crowds laughing, cackling and at least one person guffawing when MC Simon Hughes takes to the stage to present the weekend showcase.
Each Friday and Saturday night will see a collection of Australia’s rising stars followed by a professional headline act to really bust your gut and have you gasping for air. And you can make a date of the night as well with dinner before the show.
So, invite someone special, sit down to a porterhouse steak and get ready to laugh out loud. Don’t hold back either because the comedians certainly won’t be.
Kings of Comedy Live and Uncensored takes place each Friday and Saturday at the Colonial Hotel with the 90-minute show starting at 7:30pm. Dinner options also include the classic chicken parma, fish n chips, or a vegetarian stirfry and a pot of beer or house wine. If you’re doing dinner and the show, your night will start a little earlier.
Your jaw is gonna be sore but that’s expected and totally worth it.
