Melbourne Royal Show
Round up your family and friends and head over to the Showgrounds for this quintessential Melbourne experience. This year, there will be a special focus and celebration of agriculture, with two new animal precincts to discover. Head to the new Rural Pavilion for pony rides and a pup-tacular working dog showcase. Then, check out the PURA Pavilion for sheep shearing and milking experiences. Favourites like the Animal Farmyard and Animal Nursery will also return, with feeding time and educational talks.
Head over to the Main Stage for daily entertainment, with Bluey, SpongeBob and Cocomelon doing live shows for the kids. There will also be a daily Paramount+ Parade, with characters like Paw Patrol and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles taking part in the event. Find thrills with the Airtime Freestyle Motocross Stunt Show and international stunts from comic daredevil Bello Nock.
New this year is the Colour of the Outback Immersive Experience. This daily 15-minute performance celebrates country. Meanwhile, the Show After Dark will make a return, with 11 nights of live music. While the line-up hasn’t been announced yet, last year’s artists included The Veronicas, Baker Boy and Sneaky Sound System.
Keep your energy up with food and drink from 15 different food precincts scattered around the Showgrounds. Find an upmarket food experience at Graze, go on a culinary trip around the world at Eat Street, and indulge in your favourite products at the Gourmet Pantry & Cellar. Look forward to bites from Melbourne venue’s like Mr. Miyagi, Tokyo Lamington and more.
