Raise a stein and join in on the fun with the Oktoberfest celebrations at Hofbräuhaus. Over six glorious weeks, this beloved venue will feature lively music, bier specials, competitions, games and more. The festivities will kick off with an Opening Party on Saturday September 21 and run until Saturday October 26. Prost!
Oktoberfest at Hofbräuhaus
Over 15,000 revellers are expected to pay a visit to this German institution for Oktoberfest. Arrive hungry, because you can look forward to stacked plates of schnitzel, pork knuckle, currywurst, German sausages and more. The majority of the food, including the sauces, pastries, sourdough and desserts, are made in-house, and on any given week, the team prepares 800 schnitzels alone. Throughout Oktoberfest, that number is expected to skyrocket.
Of course, there will be plenty of authentic German bier for you to try. Choose from over 16 Oktoberfest biers, imported directly from Germany. Think lagers, weissbier, bock biers and more.
There’s Stein Holding competitions to keep the merriment going during band sets. Each winner in the male and female categories will win free bier for an entire year. If you’re celebrating your birthday during Oktoberfest, you’ll also receive a free stein of beer, as well as a round of Schnapps for the table.
The Hofbräuhaus Haus Band will have traditional polkas and singalongs every Thursday and Sunday, from 6:30pm until late, and on Saturday lunch from 12:30pm until 4:30pm. For more spirited tunes, check out Die Oachkatzl Musi, six musicians in traditional costumes playing polkas, Oktoberfest classics and Oompah-style music on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:3pm until late.
