A festival dedicated to pillowy parcels!
From Espresso Martinis to their Noodle and Boba Cocktails and everything in between, The Ascot Lot knows how to bring the people to its beer garden. Their run of festivals isn’t coming to an end any time soon either because come May 8, they’re filling the yard with gnocchi. (Featured image: Nils Schirmer)
We are at once excited and worried that we will end the day rolling away. Nonetheless, the potato dumplings will be served up to hungry diners from some of Melbourne’s best food trucks including the Italian Chef, Pasta Face, Ardor Food Co., Eat My Balls as well as Pearl of the Quarter.
There’ll be even more gnocchi stalls on hand in case you can’t resist and want to take the small lumps of goodness home with you.
On the day, the indoor dining hall and the outdoor beer garden bar will be continuing the Italian cuisine theme with Spritzes, Peach Bellinis and Negronis as well.
To further celebrate the heavenly joy found when munching on potato dumplings, The Ascot Lot will also be supplying the entertainment. Who will be on stage is still to be determined but last year saw the likes of Tonya Soul Singer, Self Talk Duo and Jarrod Joske perform with DJ sets from DJ Argonaut and Lloyd Jones.
Entry is free and, as always, furry friends are always welcome.More info here.
