The enchanting Raclette Igloo Experience may have left Melbourne, but fromage fans – fear not. There’s still a delectable, cheesy experience to be found at Fed Square. Simply head up to Transit Bar and indulge in three types of decadent fondues for a dreamy $15. Pair your fondue with cocktails, churros and gorgeous Melbourne views for the perfect day out. There’s three types of fondue to choose from, and they will all transport your taste buds to Europe. Your fondue is served with crunchy crisp potato rosti, with Campari onion and cress salad to cut through the richness. Your choices are:
- Raclette & Chardonnay fondue – feel transported to the Swiss Alps with this gooey mixture of melted raclette with Chardonnay.
- Black caviar, chives and crème fraiche fondue – indulge in house-made crème fraiche and a sinful serving of caviar.
- Black pepper, dark chocolate and raspberry fondue – find a mixture of sweetness and tartness with this exciting flavour combination.
Feel like dessert? End the night on a sweet note with freshly piped and fried cinnamon churros, served alongside a velvety hot chocolate sauce.
Enhance your fondue experience with one of the signature cocktails from Transit Bar. Try the Parisienne Princesse, a twist on the French Martini with vodka, chambord and house-made pineapple shrub. Or opt for The Orient Express, and enjoy gin, coriander and grapefruit for a spicy and citrusy mix.
