It’s spooky season, and if you’re looking for something a little magical, there’s a witchy market and carnival coming to Melbourne. By day, the Seaworks precinct in Williamstown will be filled with over 60 stalls, bursting with spellbinding products and amusements for all ages. Then, at night, the space will transform into an adults-only carnival, with DJs, drinks and roving performers. WitchFest will take place on Saturday, November 21.

WitchFest
Perfect for Melbourne’s growing witchy community, this mystical event by High Priestess is their biggest experiment yet. After running other markets and events over the years, Witchfest will take contemporary witchcraft into a large-scale public festival environment.
At the family-friendly market, you can expect plenty of stalls from independent makers and traders. Discover crystals, jewellery, art, books, candles, tools, magical supplies and all sorts of curious treasures. Encounter tarot, psychic and divination readers, and feel entertained by live and busking musicians.

Swing by the famous Spell Bar, where a witch will craft a custom spell for you to take home.
There will be food trucks available in case you get hungry, as well as old-school carnival games and amusements.
From 5pm, the venue will shift into an adults-only event. Come as you are, or dress up if you want to. Along with the market stalls and carnival games, there will be roving performers, magicians, mentalists, drag artists and creatures of the night. There will also be a licenced bar, so you can sip on mischievous potions.
