The Australian Tourism Awards for 2025 took place in Fremantle earlier this month, and Victoria did us proud, taking home six gold, eight silver and two bronze awards. These awards celebrated over 170 finalists across 26 categories, celebrating the best in Australian tourism, from tourist attractions to accommodation.

Victoria has a visitor economy valued at $46 billion, and these awards have confirmed that our state is a must-visit destination. 16 winners in total were honoured at the awards this month.
Gold winners:

- Shrine of Remembrance for Cultural Tourism
- Go Adventure Nagambie took home two golds, winning in the Tourism Retail, Hire & Services and Adventure Tourism categories
- Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre for Business Event Venues
- Nook on the Hill for Self-Contained Accommodation
- Mount William Station for 5 Star Luxury Accommodation
Silver winners:

- Wild Adventures Melbourne for Ecotourism
- City of Melbourne, Only in the City for Tourism Marketing & Campaigns
- The Q Train for Tourism Restaurants & Catering Services
- Harman Wines for Tourism Wineries, Distilleries & Breweries
- Kangaroo Ridge Retreat for Hosted Accommodation
- All Seasons Houseboats for Unique Accommodation
- Sovereign Park Motor Inn for 4-4.5 Star Deluxe Accommodation
- CherryHill Orchards for Excellence in Food Tourism
Bronze winners:

- Melbourne Cricket Ground for Major Tourist Attractions
- The Y – Camp Manyung for 3-3.5 Star Accommodation
Victoria will host the Australian Tourism Awards for 2026 at the new Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre in March 2027.
