Queen Victoria Market will soon host a Ramadan Night Market for the very first time. Over two exciting nights, you’re invited to break your fast with classics and favourites from over ten halal-certified food vendors. While you’re there, experience the rituals and atmosphere that define Ramadan, with specialty retail stalls, henna artistry and more. The market will run from 5pm to 10pm on Friday February 20 and Saturday February 21.

Ramadan Night Market at Queen Victoria Market
Whether you’re observing Ramadan or you’re looking for something fun to do, this inaugural event promises a great night out. Presented in partnership with the City of Melbourne, and in collaboration with the Islamic Council of Victoria, this market will celebrate culture and community.
For the food, look forward to vendors like:
- Halal Fusion Taco – feel the heat with tacos packed with Southeast Asian flavours.
- Sweet Lokma and Loukoumades – satisfy your sweet tooth with syrup-soaked doughnuts.
- Dapurnya Bubu – try Indonesian favourites like slow-cooked beef rendang with rice, pandan drinks and traditional Ramadan cookies.

You can also expect complimentary dates and water for Iftar, as well as a dedicated prayer space.
When you’re not eating, have fun with free live calligraphy demonstrations, henna artistry and face painting for the kids. Then, browse through specialty retail stores.
