Transport your taste buds to a galaxy far, far away, when the Star Wars Galactic Café launches at Melbourne Museum. This stellar cafe will be a first for Star Wars fans in Australia. Dine aboard a Corellian Star Cruiser, then explore the newly opened LEGO Star Wars: The Exhibition. This immersive dining experience will open on Saturday June 7.
Star Wars Galactic Café
This pop-up cafe will be Australia’s first-ever dining experience set in the Star Wars galaxy. It was developed and designed in collaboration with Museums Victoria, Disney and Lucasfilm. The venue and menu will be inspired by legendary characters and moments from across the saga. While the full menu hasn’t been revealed just yet, we do know that the iconic blue milk will make an appearance.
“Whether you’re a lifelong Jedi or new to the Force, the Star Wars Galactic Café promises an unforgettable experience that will satisfy your hunger for adventure and delight,” said Tim Everett, VP & GM of Disney Consumer Products Australia & New Zealand. “It’s a celebration of creativity, imagination, and the cultural phenomenon that is Star Wars. We’re incredibly proud to bring this first-of-its-kind experience to fans in Australia.”
The cafe will be open at Melbourne Museum daily from 10:30am to 3:30pm. You’ll find it on the Lower Level, just outside of the LEGO Star Wars exhibition. Bookings are available here.
