Both Melbourne and Victoria are full of serene spas, bathhouses and hot springs, and if you love finding new places to relax, we’ve got a great find for you. Leave the city behind and wander down Mornington Peninsula to the cosy Pond Bathhouse. This seaside haven opened earlier this year, and fits just 16 people at a time, offering a secluded sanctuary. This bathhouse is open daily, and bookings are available now.

Pond Bathhouse in Mornington
You’ll find Pond Bathhouse inside the former St Peter’s Church of England Vicarage. Built in the early 1860s, this beautiful building has been converted, and now offers a peaceful haven for wellness seekers.
Take it slow and unwind in the bathhouse, with magnesium enriched plunge pools. There’s a 38-degree pool for you to get nice and toasty, as well as a warmer 40-degree spot if you like it hot. After feeling the heat, dip into the ice baths for a refreshing contrast.
In the space, you’ll also find a traditional dry heat sauna, an infrared sauna and a steam room.

Retreat to the lounge for a soothing herbal tea, or slip on some headphones in the relaxation area and feel swept away by soundscapes and meditation.
If you’re in need of some extra pampering, you can also book yourself in for a full-body, deep tissue or couples massage.
